Worth it.

Came home from work at 12.05am, fucking tired and irritated. I went to the kitchen to get some ice water and suddenly my mum appeared shouting, "Happy birthday!!"

She kissed me on the cheek and I swear I felt so loved. I thanked her happily and put my stuff in my room. When I went back to the kitchen to find my mum, I saw her putting a slice of blueberry cake on a plate. That was her surprise for me and I swear, I felt like bursting into tears right there and then. I was so touched. The cake was heavenly. Thanks Mum. <3
